Refund Policy for African Creates

At African Creates, we take pride in offering authentic, high-quality Moroccan rugs and handmade decor. Each piece is unique and carefully crafted by skilled artisans. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to ensure you have a positive shopping experience.

Please read our refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Returns Eligibility

  • You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • To be eligible for a return, items must be:

    • Unused, unwashed, and in their original condition.

    • Original packaging must be intact.

  • Custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order items cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of damage or defect.

2. Non-Refundable Items

  • Clearance or final sale items.

  • Custom rugs or products created specifically based on your request.

  • Gift cards.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@africancreates.com.

  • Include clear photos of the damaged product and packaging to help us resolve the issue quickly.

  • We will either replace the item or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.

4. Return Process

  1. Contact us first at sales@africancreates.com to request a return authorization.

  2. After approval, we will provide you with return instructions.

  3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

  4. Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

5. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Please note that shipping fees (initial delivery charges) are non-refundable, except in cases of damaged or incorrect items.

6. International Orders

  • Customs duties, taxes, and fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

  • You are responsible for any return shipping costs, including customs clearance fees.

7. Exchanges

  • We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

  • If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original product (following the steps above) and place a new order.
