Vintage Beni Mguild Moroccan Rug , Moroccan rug
The Beni Mguild tribe originates from the Middle Atlas mountains and traditionally made their carpets to protect them from harsh mountain winters. They were used to cover cold floors, and even as blankets when the temperatures were in their lowest.
Berber rugs were not made for production, but as functional pieces to be used for many years and passed down through generations. All the beautiful colors and patterns used have a true meaning behind them that are personal expressions of the woman who made it. These pieces can show signs of wear which I believe adds to their beauty and value, while telling a story about where they were before Bohozoo All rugs are cleaned, and any repairs needed are done in Morocco before shipment.

Return of items will only be accepted for exchange of another of equal or greater value. Items will only be accepted in the same condition as when purchased without any signs of wear, tear or use of the rugs. We ask for rugs not be purchased for the purpose of use for events and special occasions and then returned. We hope you understand why we have to take these measures and incorporate these terms into our shop policy.

🚿 CARE INSTRUCTIONS 📋
Our rugs are very low maintenance. Natural wool rugs are stain resistant and easy to self-clean. No need for professional cleaning by carpet cleaning companies.
You can dry clean carpets by vacuuming them to remove dirt and grime.
To clean accidental soiling on the rugs, mix Tide or Aerial detergent with the Color Guard option in cold 💦 water. Add some Downy Fabric Softener to the mix to help keep the rugs soft. Typically 1/4 cup of detergent is for a smaller rug. You can dilute the ingredients in water accordingly for the size of the carpets that needs to be cleaned.
